Chocolate chess pie from Little Red Fox; a Thanksgiving table from Uptown Market
Local businesses are standing by to help you prepare this year’s Thanksgiving meal… or simply enjoy it!
Bread Furst (4434 Connecticut) is accepting preorders of its $165 “everything but the turkey” Thanksgiving meal, featuring several sides and your choice of pie. The shop says it will be taking orders until it sells out.
It’s “everything but the turkey” now at Little Red Fox (5035 Connecticut) too, because less than a week after it opened preorders for Green Circle heritage breed turkeys, the birds sold out. But it, too, has sides and pies available for preorder and pickup on Tuesday, November 23rd and Wednesday, November 24th.
Uptown Market (4465 Connecticut) is still talking turkey. The birds are included in ready-to-cook meal packages, or you can select the main dish, sides, desserts and drinks separately. Place your order here by Monday, November 22nd for pickup on the 23rd or 24th.
Calvert Woodley (4339 Connecticut) would be more than happy to help you select some wine for your table. Its owner and wine manager are hosting a Thanksgiving-themed virtual wine tasting on Thursday, November 11th. Find more information and register here.
I’m Eddie Cano (5014 Connecticut) is preparing heat-and-eat Thanksgiving meals for two. Preorder one of the special menu boxes here for pickup the afternoon of November 24th.
Or, you can skip the cooking and the cleanup by making a reservation for dinner at Sfoglina Pasta House (4445 Connecticut). There’s a special Thanksgiving menu, and its full all-day menu will also be available.
