Forest Hills Rocks, Vol. 2: Neighbor Mark Baughman debuts his second rock opera at the 2017 Capital Fringe Festival. We have a few more chances this month to catch “Release.” Follow the opera’s Facebook page to learn about future performances.

Mural in the making: At a July 21st art show, Forest Hills artist Michelle Muri-Sloane debuts a mural at Preservation and Framing (4901 Wisconsin Avenue). Other large-scale pieces will also be on exhibit, along with works by fellow artists Tati Vice and Vanda Nowrozi.
