Meet Your Neighbors update: Milton Shinberg’s art at P&P’s Den Dec. 3

November 29, 2016

Milton Shinberg 1We got to see the artistic side of a longtime neighbor at the Forest Hills Art Walk in May. We get another chance starting this Saturday, December 3rd. Milton Shinberg‘s photos and watercolors are going on display at The Den at Politics and Prose with an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m.

Shinberg is an Upton Street neighbor and a principal of the architecture firm Shinberg Levinas Architects. He told us in May that the challenge of being an architect-turned-watercolorist is embracing the imprecise nature of the medium. We think he’s on the right track and hope you’ll see for yourself!

Milton Shinberg’s work will be on display at The Den at Politics and Prose (5015 Connecticut Avenue) until January 14th. The December 3rd opening reception is from 6 to 8 p.m.
