ANC 3F news: 3F01 election on Oct. 14, meeting on Oct. 17

ANC 3F is holding an election Saturday to fill the vacant 3F01 seat. If you live within that single-member district and you are a registered voter, head to the UDC Theater of the Arts between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on October 14th. 3F01 voters are choosing between two candidates, and you can learn more about them here.

The next order of business for the advisory neighborhood commission is its next regular meeting on Tuesday, October 17th. The deputy director of the DC office that works on violence interventions and support for survivors is scheduled to appear. And the ANC will decide whether to lend its support to plans to build an addition to Sheridan School.

(Disclosure: The ANC commissioners will also be voting on whether to purchase a year’s worth of ads on Forest Hills Connection. It has done so in the past.)
