Mary Cheh’s School Readiness Tour

August 14, 2012 by FHC

Our representative on the DC Council, Mary Cheh, has been visiting our ward’s schools this week, checking for “everything from missing books to broken air conditioners.” School starts on August 27th for all students except pre-K. Those kids start full-time after Labor Day.

From her office’s mid-August newsletter:

Councilmember Cheh’s 6th Annual Ward 3 School Readiness Tour

This week, Councilmember Cheh will continue her annual tradition of ensuring that all Ward 3 schools are prepared for the upcoming school year by personally touring each facility, and checking for everything from missing books to broken air conditioners.
