Help wanted at ANC 3F

We’ve told you about two potential openings on ANC 3F, since two of its seven single member districts won’t have any candidates on the November 4th ballot.

Now, ANC 3F is creating a brand new job: Administrative consultant. Our ANC is seeking a part-timer whose duties will include updating ANC3F.us and keeping the community informed of ANC activities such as meetings and grant opportunities.

Here’s the job description:

Compensation: $20 per hour
Time Needs: 20-25 hours per month
Duties:
-Take meeting minutes from the secretary, revise them and circulate to ANC Commissioners for revisions
-Update website following each monthly meeting, or more often as needed
-Circulate announcements of meetings to local media and listservs
-Circulate final resolutions with cover letters to relevant agencies and interested parties
-Operate live streaming equipment at meetings
-Draft publicity materials to inform community of grant opportunities
-Assist ANC committees with drafting and printing of brochures, invitations, spreadsheets, communications, publicity and correspondence; take minutes at committee meetings. Post committee minutes, meeting notices and other relevant documents to ANC 3F website.
-Pick up mail and distribute
