Just a couple of the things I’m thankful for:
32nd Street sidewalk under construction
After many years of requesting, cajoling and demanding that officials put in a sidewalk on 32nd Street between Davenport and Ellicott, it is finally going in.
Kudos go to ANC 3F Commissioner Sally Gresham who finally pushed and sweet-talked the powers that be to construct this sidewalk. Finally, those children running off to the playground with their parents or nannies in tow have a sidewalk on which to make that journey.
2800 block of Davenport usable again – mostly
Most of the leaves that had been blocking the 2800 block of Davenport have been cleared so it’s once again passable for pedestrians.
There is a piece of the sidewalk that is still in need of some attention, however.
Still, I am glad to be back on the sidewalk as I make my way to and from the trails in Rock Creek Park. – by Marlene Berlin

Thanks so much for your work on this sidewalk! Is there any chance of extending it down to Fessenden? And also extending the partially existing sidewalk on Fessenden from Linean down to 30th?
