ted just says
Bicycle lanes are an interesting idea, however, with increased congested traffic squeezing bike lanes next to heavy traffic might not be the only creative proposal.
This next idea maybe a stretch but as space in our city continues to be a premium; it should not be discarded but analyzed to find ways to make it useful.
Start converting our alleys into multi-use resources by allowing them to also used for connected bicycle lanes.
And when geography makes it impossible to have one straight lane, connect them with “spurs” in order to one day have pathway for protected bikers. thank you for reading this and maybe moving the idea to another level by adding to it in ways i did not mention nor thought of.
